My love of sewing and anything crafty began at age 10, when I took my first sewing class at the Singer store on Broad Street in Augusta, Georgia. I eventually got my first sewing machine for my 16th birthday.
I have enjoyed machine quilting, sewing and smocking most all of my girls dresses when they were little and making all kinds of draperies and bed coverings.
I purchased my first embroidery machine 19 years ago and have not looked back. Now I have my dream machines and am enjoying every minute of it!!
I love creating beautiful gift items and welcome a challenge. I look forward to helping you create that special gift or keepsake.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the most foundational thing about me...Jesus Christ. Embroidered items are cute, but those things really don't matter in light of eternity. The Lord was gracious to save me and draw me into a personal relationship with Him. His grace sustains me as He is daily working in my life to make me more like Him. While I sew for others, "it's the Lord Jesus Christ whom I serve". (Colossians 3:24)
